Caileigh Gold is a storyteller drawn to movement, light, and the many forms they can take. Born and raised in Virginia, she was immersed in the arts from an early age, ultimately devoting her childhood and early adult years to the discipline of classical ballet.

As a teenager, Caileigh developed an obsession with photography - an interest that, years later, evolved into a deep fascination with cinematography and visual storytelling.

Her dedication to craft led her to earn a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts in 2024. While at USC, she was awarded the prestigious Annenberg Graduate Fellowship and served as President of the Trojan Society of Cinematographers. She won Best Cinematography at First Look in 2025.

Outside of set, Caileigh can often be found experimenting with Super 8mm film, teaching herself to crochet, or baking treats to share with her crew.
